Biography
Recently retired Superintendent of Capital School District. I have been an adjunct instructor for Â鶹ÊÓƵ for 29 years. I am also the Chair of the Master of Instruction: Teaching/Learning and Teacher of Reading programs at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. I am the Lead Adjunct for the MRD program. I studied special education at Slippery Rock University which is renowned for its special education department supported by the John F. Kennedy Foundation. My master’s degree is in Reading and Doctorate in Leadership from Â鶹ÊÓƵ. I also completed the Principals Institute at Harvard.
My passion has been special education and reading development for the past 30 years as a teacher, parent, advocate, principal, and superintendent. I have created programming, supported law, and developed environments for all students to be successful.
