Ceremony Times Tickets Guidelines and Procedures

Ceremony Times

All ceremony attendees, including graduates, require a ticket for admission to the venue. See Tickets below for more information.

Specific times will be determined during the Spring term of 2025.

Tickets

All ceremony attendees, including graduates, require a ticket for admission to the venue. Anyone without a ticket will not be admitted into the venue.

  • Each graduate requires a graduate ticket, separate from guest tickets.
  • Each guest, regardless of age, requires an individual guest ticket.
  • Each electronic ticket is unique and can only be used to admit one individual to the venue.

This year Â鶹ÊÓƵ is excited to announce graduates will get their tickets electronically via MyWilmU. Graduates will be sent an email the week of May 6 with instructions for obtaining and using the electronic tickets.

  • Please distribute electronic tickets to your guests before entering the venue and explain our policies.
  • All graduates and guests should be prepared to present a ticket upon entering the venue, either printed (on your own, in advance) or on a smartphone. Â鶹ÊÓƵ cannot provide printed tickets in advance or at the venue.
  • Â鶹ÊÓƵ is not responsible for lost or misplaced tickets.

Ceremony Guidelines and Procedures

Please note these essential points to ensure a safe and vibrant ceremony at the Chase Center on the Riverfront.

Please also see information about accessibility accommodations if needed.

Security and Safety

  • All graduates and guests should be prepared to present a ticket upon entering the venue, either printed or on a smartphone.
  • Masks and face coverings are optional. While masks are not required, continuing to wear one is a personal decision. We respect anyone who makes that choice.
  • Standard security measures will be in place, so everyone entering the Chase Center will be searched.
  • Strollers, infant carriers, balloons, backpacks, large purses, or outside food and beverages are not permitted in the Chase Center.

The graduation year on your tassel is based on the commencement year ceremony, not the year you finished your degree.
