Grades and Transcripts
How do I obtain a copy of my academic transcript?
If you are a current student or recent graduate, you can view or request a copy of your transcript through myWilmU. Step by step instructions can be found on the Transcript Request webpage. Former students and Alumni can obtain a copy of by submitting a transcript request form to the Office of the Registrar or any Â鶹ÊÓƵ site office. You may also mail or fax the completed transcript request form to the Office of the Registrar using the address or fax number listed at the top of the form.
There is a transcript fee of $5.00 per copy for official or unofficial transcripts. Transcripts can either be mailed to a designated address or you can pick them up from the Registrar's Office at the New Castle site. Copies of your transcript can not be faxed or emailed.
If I choose to take a class again is the old grade removed from my transcript?
The original grade you received for that particular class will always remain on the transcript. However, the new grade you receive for the class will be the grade that is used to calculate your cumulative grade point average.
I have an incomplete, grade of "I", in one of my classes.
How long do I have to make up the work?
After being granted an incomplete, course work must be completed within the time limitation determined by the instructor up to a maximum of 60 days following the end of the course. After the 60 days, the grade will change to a grade of "F" unless:
- an additional extension is arranged, or
- the instructor notifies the Office of the Registrar (when he or she wants to change a student's grade) before the initial 60-day period ends.
When do I get my semester grade report? Is it mailed to me?
Final course grades are entered by instructors no later than one week after the end of the term. After grades are entered into the student record system, a grade report will be available online through myWilmU.
Can I receive my grades over the phone?
Grades are not released over the phone, person-to-person from the Registrar's Office nor by fax. If your instructor has submitted your grade prior to the due date, then you can logon to myWilmU and view and or print your grade report.
